A well-known global pharmaceutical company with leading products across various therapeutic areas is looking to hire an Associate Director in Clinical Study Management. This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for the incumbent to come on board with a top global pharmaceutical company that has a workforce of more than 6,700 employees across multiple sites in the UK.

As an Associate Director, Study Management, the incumbent will lead the study delivery teams, whilst demonstration an agile and collaborative approach to work. This position is based with the company's Cambridge team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and driving the delivery and reporting of all components of the company to time, quality, budget, project standards and scientific requirements.
  • Liaising with the Global Medicines Development Clinical Operations Group.
  • Identifying and resolving operational feasibility issues and facilitating study start-up activities.
  • Forecasting and ensuring the day-to-day management of study timelines and budget, materials, and the development of detailed study level plans and feasibility assessments.
  • Implementing globally agreed study level process and technology for clinical sites.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A university degree in a related discipline, preferably in biological science, or an area associated with Clinical Research.
  • Demonstrable experience leading international studies in early stage oncology clinical development.
  • A background of delivering through strategic partners and third party vendors.
  • Established people and project leadership skills.
  • Demonstrable experience with clinical drug development project management.
