Senior Director - RWE and Data Analytics

Proclinical are recruiting for a Senior Director - RWE and Data Analytics to work at a leading multinational contract research organisation in Europe. This is an excellent company to work for, whose clients include many of the world's leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies and they employ over 15,000 personnel in over 50 countries.

This company is currently seeking a Senior Director, RWE & Data Analytics to support the expansion and help accelerate the growth of our business

The role can be flexibly based in one of their EMEA offices (limitations apply) but ideally in either Paris, London, Berlin, Basel or Milan

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops high growth and profitable business through strategic planning, business development and implementation of high-level service delivery
• Responsible for the expansion of our credibility and business relationships to new customers in the bio-pharma segment
• Accountable for all activity and financial outcomes within assigned area, including revenue generation, client satisfaction and service delivery
• Help form the vision and support the development and execution of the strategic agenda for this area
• Actively manages performance including typical HR activities for direct reports (i.e. performance management forms, salary actions, bonuses, scorecards)
• Provides input on staff to appropriate Senior Management Team Members
• Provides applicable guidance and support to staff in order for staff to succeed and achieve key metrics. Holds staff accountable to key metrics
• Facilitates staff development plans and coordinates with project staffing to ensure that staff is utilized completely and appropriately
• Coordinates with project staffing to provide staff with opportunities to expand skill sets
• Rewards staff appropriately
• Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring, feedback and role modelling to managers and extended staff to ensure quality and accuracy of services as well as achievement of key metrics
• Actively prospects and leverages new business opportunities with client and industry contacts in collaboration with Account Management
• Leverages rainmaking skills resulting in new and repeat business for the company. Is responsible for constant monitoring of his/her "A" list, and is expected to have continued contact with both existing and future potential clients
• Participates in project scoping calls and proposal preparation

Skills and Requirements:

• Proven success engaging with global customers on evidence assessment/RWD/RWE initiatives
• A Master's degree or PhD in the area of outcomes research, epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, health services research, or a related field
• Deep knowledge of RWE data sets and how best to identify/access/analyse the right data sources given the customer specific need
• A minimum of 10 years' related experience with designing and running retrospective database analysis studies
• Recent Pharmaceutical / CRO/Consultancy experience
• Consistent success track record of cultivating and managing client relationships
• Extensive knowledge of EU and US healthcare claims and EMR databases along with strong skills in SAS programming
• Solid understanding of EU regulatory process and EU 5 HTA agencies including NICE
• Experience and training in statistical modelling
• Experience and exposure to the design of Observational/Hybrid studies
• Experience working in a consulting environment ideally in a global/multi-national organization
• Ability to successfully navigate large complex organizations, identifying and leveraging resources. Leading without direct line management.
• Established network in the industry with customers and data partners
• Fluent English, additional language will be an asset
• Entrepreneurial attitude and focus on execution and achievement of business priorities
• Commitment to excellence in the delivery and involvement and leadership to ensure seamless project management, resource coordination and execution
• Strong communication skills, especially in the relaying of technical information and project concepts
