Proclinical is seeking a Senior Brand Manager, to be based in West London on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate product specific marketing activities and plans to achieve both long and short term agreed business objectives, including sales and profitability targets.
  • Understand the entire patient journey and interventions from symptoms to diagnosis to treatment and the healthcare policies that direct and influence that journey.
  • Understand the market access and reimbursement process in order to align the pre-launch and lifecycle brand strategy.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of market dynamics including competitor landscape (current and future) and incorporate these into brand strategy.
  • Take and recommend strategic decisions that are informed by researched and evidenced insights that can be robustly supported.
  • Lead, manage and engage with internal and external stakeholders including key advocates.
  • Be an effective Project Manager in order to lead and influence cross-functional and project teams including Medical and Market Access.
  • Lead the brand planning process and deliver a Brand Plan that is aligned to the Lifecycle and Mid-Term Plans.
  • Develop and implement Brand and Non-Promotional Campaigns that are directed by the needs of the patient and healthcare professional as well as the goals of the company.
  • Take responsibility for the development of budgeted tactical plans, the implementation of the plans, the reporting against agreed KPIs and objectives and the monitoring of the expenditure budgets.
  • Lead and direct the forecasting process.
  • Manage and work effectively with agencies and other 3rd party service providers.
  • Drive, influence and co-ordinate the Launch Excellence process within the company.
  • Set, monitor and report on KPIs and quantitative objectives.
  • Lead and drive the communication and implementation of the marketing strategy within the sales function.
  • Understand the barriers to successfully executing the marketing strategy within the sales teams and provide the appropriate support to overcome these barriers.
  • Lead and organise the Cycle Meetings.
  • Contribute and provide input into the sales team Account Plans in order to drive effectiveness.
  • Inspire, motivate and provide leadership to colleagues across the organisation.
  • Ensure strategic and tactical alignment with medical for promotional and non-promotional activities.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Science or business graduate, ideally with marketing qualification.
  • Product management experience in the UK, preferably within a specialist/secondary care environment.
  • Experience in sales, preferably within a specialist/secondary care environment.
  • Co-promotion/co-marketing experience desirable.
  • Experience of strategic and lifecycle brand planning.
  • Sound analytical and financial skills in developing budgets, forecasts and market models.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Collaborates and co-operates with management, colleagues and partners.
  • Shares experience/expertise with others.
  • Demonstrates a positive can-do attitude.
  • Creates an open and trusting environment where confidential/ethical issues can be discussed candidly.
  • Displays a professional image and presence and acts as a company ambassador.
  • Works independently/autonomously and engages industriously with team working processes.
  • Takes ownership and initiates action.
