Research Associate, Analytical

At Proclinical, we are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Research Associate, Analytical, based in Philadelphia, PA. The successful individual will perform research and development activities and assay validations as required under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform assay development and validation using appropriate laboratory techniques in the biopharmaceutical testing area
• Conduct scientific development projects relating to the development of new assays.
• Assist in preparation and revision of technical documents and reports as directed.
• Complete batch records and other required documentation.
• Maintain laboratory notebook and follows all general and laboratory SOPs.
• Report observations of ongoing tests to Study Director or Area Manager.
• Communicate with supervisor and other colleagues re: daily lab activities.
• Order reagents and consumables as required using commodity specification procedure.
• Communicate inventory needs and material information as directed to suppliers/vendors and Materials Management personnel.
• Prepare and maintains reagents for laboratory uses.
• Perform laboratory maintenance and keep records of maintenance.
• Contribute to the preparation of protocols, final reports, investigations, and deviations.

Skills And Qualifications

• BA with a related major or equivalent training and/or experience.
• Experience with analytical and biochemical assay development is required.
• Biologics experience preferred.
• Specialized laboratory training in general laboratory procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of GLP & cGMP guidelines is preferred.
• Previous lab experience.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
