At Proclinical, we are seeking an individual to fill the newly-opened role of Regional Sales Manager, based in Washington, DC. The successful individual will direct, support and drive sales efforts in a geographically defined region within the US. Each RSM will have an independent geographic region and is responsible to develop the sales and maximize profits, for all business units in their respective geographical region with focused efforts on designated key organizations within the region.

Responsibilities

Propose a specific action plan to be implemented and the results measured.
Develop training materials for how to sell services and products.
Propose new ideas or innovations to boost sales or improvements.
Hire, train, coach and develop direct reports/
Centralize resources available and align with other departments to maximize productivity.
Report to senior management using systematic and thoughtful analysis methods.

Skills And Qualifications

MA or higher in life science discipline, with hands-on laboratory experience.
2+ years of successful field sales experience preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of the life science and CRO markets.
Ability to accurately forecast sales within a designated region on a monthly basis.
