Facilities Engineer - Permanent - Bristol, PA

Proclinical is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our client's team. This is a permanent position located in Philadelphia, PA.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is integral to the smooth operation of our client's facilities, requiring both technical expertise and operational insight. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance, enhancing efficiency, and aligning with organizational objectives.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in GMP manufacturing or other regulated industries.
  • Ability to assess and enhance maintenance and asset management processes.
  • Strong documentation skills, adhering to Good Documentation Practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with FDA, EudraLex, and ISO regulations related to GMP manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with equipment/asset management databases.

The Facilities Engineer will:

  • Manage the IFS/Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for accurate asset data management, including calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Support validation activities to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee small to medium-scale projects aimed at improving facility efficiency.
  • Implement and manage the Qualer system for optimal use in maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Conduct spare parts assessments and manage inventory to support ongoing facility operations.
  • Organize and enhance facility maintenance, focusing on mechanical areas and grounds.
  • Manage work order documentation from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
  • Prioritize and plan safety-related work orders to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Develop and implement metrics for facility maintenance, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Handle deviations, CAPAs, and audit actions, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.
  • Serve as the site Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IFS, providing guidance and support to the facilities team.
