Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a Regional Complaints Coordinator, EMEA with a leading essential technology company that prides itself on its impact in the fast-moving healthcare industry. This organisation, which balances the excitement of a start-up with the stability of an organisation grounded in its roots, is seeking for an experienced applicant to join their team in Switzerland.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting complaint signal detection, trending, and post market quality surveillance.
  • E the adequacy of the documentation of the post market surveillance activities in terms of regulatory compliance and technical/statistical soundness.
  • Presenting results, facilitating discussions during data review meetings, and proposing escalations, corrective, and preventative actions as required.
  • Handling/investigating reported product complaints, malfunctions, and adverse patient events.
  • Following and develop procedures and processes to investigate and analysing post market data to resolve significant issues.
  • Determining and implementing data driven solutions for monitoring customer and product quality issues through the application of statistical software and data analysis.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field (for example, Data Science, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Quality Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, etc.) or a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in a post market surveillance (PMS) role.
  • 2+ years of experience handling customer complaints and/or adverse patient events.
  • Demonstrable experience leading projects to improve and develop the sensitivity and specificity of surveillance processes for medical device performance.
  • Highly competent with statistical analysis of data.
  • Experience with software such as Advanced Excel techniques, Python and/or R.
  • Experience with verification and validation activities of post market surveillance reports and data script outputs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer complaints and/or adverse patient events including developing and implementing investigation strategies.
  • Fluency in written English, with proficiency in German preferred.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Prepared to work hard to meet ambitious deadlines and exceed clients' expectations
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
