Proclinical, in support of a growing pharma company, are seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Project Manager, based in Maryland. The successful candidate will work with several teams to develop, track and ensure that project objectives are met. Additionally, the individual will integrate relevant processes of individual projects performed by respective teams into one consolidated timeline for project strategy management.

Responsibilities

  • Work with project leaders and functional representatives to develop the project strategy in alignment with overarching strategy, leading the project strategy into project plans.
  • Challenge team and functional representatives on assumptions for time, costs and risk to optimize project delivery.
  • Drive project management deliverables such as the project schedule and track team goals and objectives, report progress to stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead team meetings.
  • Create, maintain, update and manage cross-functional project timelines.
  • Generate risk management plans by proactively identifying, communicating and resolving project-related issues and risks, and leading mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Escalate critical issues to senior management and committees as appropriate.
  • Identify risk factor, which may affect project schedule and bring the issue the issue to cross-functional meeting, ensure that mitigation plans are implemented as necessary.
  • Assure that team members from all disciplines are on track for successful completion of assigned tasks and milestones.
  • Act as point of contact for project management related issues in cross- organizational teams, for which Director of Strategic Planning directs to follow up.
  • Attend, schedule, and occasionally lead recurring meetings remotely.

Skills And Qualifications

  • BA or higher in a related subject.
  • Excellent project integration, leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of GLP, GCP and GMP basic principles.
  • Good understanding of basic CMC principles.
  • Substantial experience with project scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to maintain project information, and to integrate and distribute appropriate information to senior management and team members.
  • Ability to negotiate with team members to resolve project/team issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in complex environment.
