Medical Director

Proclinical, in support of a growing pharma company, is seeking an individual to fill the role of Medical Director; New Products, based in Waltham, MA. As a member of the North American medical affairs team, the successful candidate will provide state of the art medical expertise and leadership for new products.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical strategy and provide medical leadership and contribution for new products.
• Provide expertise for new products and applicable disease areas.
• Serve as a key resource for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Organize and conduct NA national and regional advisory board meetings.
• Determine strategies for engagement plans.
• Assume accountability for the North American new product medical plans.
• Ensure consistency and approval of medical content and scientific messages by participating as a member of the NA PSMR team.
• Collaborate with scientific affairs and global medical affairs to provide disease state content and product specific medical content for training purposes.
• Review and contribute to applicable Regulatory, Drug Safety, Market Access and Reimbursement document.
• Collaborate with commercial and market access functions to ensure alignment on product plans.
• Collaborate with clinical operations in the execution of the new products lifecycle plan.

Skills And Qualifications

• MD and 5-10 years of industry experience required.
• Medical technical leadership including skill set in medical affairs, clinical development, drug safety, and product launch experience
• Strong customer orientation, science based and with high business acumen
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
