A top 10 global pharmaceutical company is currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician II. This organisation develops innovative products across multiple therapy areas including cardiovascular, oncology, and respiratory, and employs 100,000 staff globally. Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing installations, maintenance, and repairs of line manufacturing equipment.
  • Independently locating and diagnosing failures, replacing defective components, and performing troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Maintaining appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
  • Using a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
  • Providing general maintenance support as designated by supervisor.
  • Coordinating maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor.
  • Creating or revising standard operating procedures.
  • Performing multi-shift work as required.
  • Complying with all safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • May be required to perform the duties of Maintenance Tech I as required by supervisor.
  • Responding to emergency notifications via phone.
  • Responsibilities may include overseeing temperature, pressure differential room pressures, chart recorders.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Highly automated environment experience in pharma or food.
  • Manufacturing Production Line experience
  • Mechanical knowledge, Electrical, P&IDs, and Steam Sterilization Automated Parts Washers experience.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
