Director Medical Affairs - Women's Health

Proclinical is currently seeking an Associate Director/Director of Medical Affairs for a pharmaceutical company that develops products to treat iron deficiency anemia in adults. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the medical affairs launch strategy for a women's sexual health program. Reporting directly to the Executive Director (ED), this person will play a key role in medical contribution to brand planning and other cross-functional endeavors.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as medial reviewer for MRC and MLR.
• Participate in Asset Teams.
• Collaborate and provide medical insight and interpretation to market access value dossier.
• Provide medical insight to the development of the post hoc analysis strategy of development-program trial data, communication plan, and publication plan.
• Support the ED in the development and execution of launch plan and LCM plan.
• Define research areas of interest for post marketing local phase 4 and ISRs.
• Design, manage, and execute advisory boards.
• Support commercial and payer advisory boards.
• Co-develop and review/approve medical communications materials and training curriculum in preparation for launch.

Skills and Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 3+ years of previous Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry experience required.
• Ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific and medical information to both internal and external customers.
• Ability to anticipate and adapt to change; strong interpersonal skills commensurate with the need to work closely with others.
• Ability to communicate well with health care professionals.
• Ability to travel 30-40% of the time.
• Experience in women's healthcare a plus.
• Prior pharmaceutical/biotech industry launch experience preferred.
