A leading pharmaceutical company is advertising a vacancy for a Biologics Head for their office in Shanghai. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative corporation so as to bolster a career in the Scientific field.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and lead biologics team in the business
Research, study, develop and evaluate drug compounds from early stage to early clinical stage where necessary
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Identify medical needs and opportunities
Work with external CRO / CDMO partners
Assess and evaluate licensing-in deals and compounds
Synergizing the work (projects, studies, etc.) with internal stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements:

Doctorate degree in Biology, biologics or related disciplines.
Fundamental knowledge in drug development.
At least 10-15 years of practical experience on discovery (ideally latest years on biologics).
Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
