The challenge

We were assigned the task of finding a person with international experience within supply chain to support to the Director of the department and manage a team of 11 people. This all needed to be conducted within extremely tight timelines and a niche candidate pool. 

The solution

From having partnered with them on other projects, we had a good understanding of the company values and ethos. We organised a meeting in Spain with HR and the hiring manager to fully understand their requirements for this individual on a personal and technical level, and timelines for interviews were agreed at the beginning of the process to maximise efficiency. We headhunted across Europe for this role and four candidates were selected for the initial interview stage. Two moved forward for the final phase and one was hired – a highly experienced candidate based in Italy who relocated to Spain to take over the role.  

The outcome

Despite the candidate having to fly to Spain 3 times for interviews, we helped our partner to hire for the role in just 4 weeks.

We received personal praise from the Supply Chain Director regarding the excellent quality of the candidates we had supplied and the overall efficiency of the process.
