Proclinical is seeking a Fleet Manager for a short-term contract to oversee the operational management of vehicle fleets across the UK and Ireland. This role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining compliance with internal policies, fostering strong relationships with leasing partners, and delivering a positive experience for employees utilizing company vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of corporate and benefit car fleets across the UK and Ireland.
- Coordinate vehicle assignments, deliveries, and renewals in line with fleet policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with leasing partners to ensure service quality and contract adherence.
- Administer the vehicle pool while ensuring compliance with internal rules and standards.
- Update and maintain fleet policies and communicate guidelines effectively to employees.
- Manage fleet communication materials, including catalogues and policy documents.
- Process traffic fines and follow up with employees promptly.
- Handle insurance certificate issuance, renewals, and accident/incident management.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulations.
- Provide expertise on electric vehicles (EVs), charging networks, energy cards, and digital tools.
- Support electrification strategies through training, awareness sessions, and eco-driving initiatives.
- Oversee installation of home and onsite EV charging points, ensuring compliance and budget monitoring.
- Act as a central point of contact for HR, Finance, Global Car Fleet, Compensation & Benefits, and employees.
- Maintain accurate fleet data and reporting to support decision-making and governance.
- Contribute to fleet strategy evolution, including cost optimization and process improvements.
- Promote Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies across fleet activities.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience in fleet management.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information effectively.
- Ability to manage priorities and respond quickly to changing needs.
- Discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
- Familiarity with electric vehicle technology and charging infrastructure.
- Native-level English proficiency.
