Proclinical is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to play a pivotal role in supporting sales operations within the medical technology sector. In this position, you will provide commercial and administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth processes from customer inquiries to project completion. This role involves coordinating projects, optimizing workflows, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and team inquiries related to products and services.
- Assist the sales team with quotations, order processing, tracking, and invoicing.
- Coordinate projects, managing timelines, resources, budgets, and status updates.
- Streamline order-to-delivery processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate across departments to facilitate installations, billing, and regulatory adherence.
- Create and manage purchase orders for customers and contractors.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding training, installations, and project updates.
- Maintain accurate records of project and installation data, ensuring proper documentation for invoicing.
- Identify and resolve obstacles in the sales order process proactively.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Background in commercial or technical education, with experience in sales support, back-office operations, or project coordination.
- Familiarity with the medical technology industry and knowledge of the German healthcare system and tender processes.
- Experience in tender management and procurement workflows.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and MS Office applications.
- Fluency in German and proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel up to 14 times per year.
