At Proclinical, we are seeking an individual to fill the role of Safety Intake Specialist, based in Princeton, NJ. The successful individual will be responsible for the receipt, documentation and triage of all inbound safety information, including serious and non-serious adverse events, and US marketed products. Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all internal and external drug and device safety reporting requirements regarding the collection and maintenance of safety records.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and document information received from inbound and outbound contacts from and to relevant internal and external personnel related to non-serious adverse events and complaints.
  • Perform data entry of technical complaints and other safety information.
  • Facilitate customer replacements and refunds; generate acknowledgement letters.
  • Scan and archive incoming mail containing safety information.
  • Support Case Handling team with reconciliation with vendors and partners.
  • Assist with training and mentorship of new hires.
  • Quality review of technical complaint reports
  • Support identifying trends and implementing corrective actions for issues identified during call monitoring, quality review of technical complaint reports, and Customer Complaint Center.
  • Identify procedural deficiencies and opportunities for process improvements; make improvement recommendations to management and support implementation of solutions.

Skills And Qualifications

  • BA in related discipline or equivalent and 4+ years of progressively responsible experience. 2+ years of Customer Service experience required. Product safety experience preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Experience with a Call Center and Drug Safety database preferred.
  • Experience with audits/inspections preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) preferred.
