Proclinical is seeking a Professional Education Manager to lead the development and execution of healthcare professional (HCP) education strategies in the DACH region. This role focuses on enhancing HCP knowledge and confidence in initiating, onboarding, and optimizing patients on automated insulin delivery systems, with an emphasis on hybrid closed-loop systems for diabetes care. You will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative educational programs that align with business objectives and meet the evolving needs of HCPs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HCP education strategies and tactics aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify learning needs and establish a comprehensive omnichannel education pathway.
- Design and deliver engaging medical education programs, including peer-to-peer training and customized content.
- Partner with scientific and professional organizations to co-develop and deliver impactful educational initiatives.
- Lead the execution of symposiums at national congresses and manage logistics for medical education courses.
- Measure and report the impact of educational programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations and ethical standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with HCPs, thought leaders, and internal stakeholders to drive adoption of diabetes technologies.
- Contribute to global and regional product launch planning and maintain up-to-date knowledge of diabetes treatment landscapes.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency in English and German; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex clinical information effectively.
- Experience in medical education within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Expertise in adult education theory, best practices, and innovative delivery models.
- Understanding of regional medical practices, clinical decision-making, and diabetes treatment guidelines.
- Familiarity with compliance standards for interactions with HCPs and industry representatives.
- Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or MS) or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
