IVD R&D Head

A leading biotechnology company is seeking to recruit an IVD R&D Head to their office in Shanghai. The organisation develops, manufactures, and markets in-vitro diagnostic products in China, focusing on the IVD business. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious company that offers products across a broad range of primary business segments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participating in the decision of the company's overall strategic plan for medical laboratory reagents, instruments, and decision-making on major R&D issues, and formulating R&D strategies.
• Responsible for the improvement and management of the overall R&D system.
• Responsible for the development and management of in vitro diagnostic reagents and testing instruments.
• To grasp the industry dynamics, making and implementing the overall development strategy and strategy of R&D.

Skills and Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in laboratory science, clinical medicine or biology, chemistry, machinery, electronics, etc.
• Have 10 years or more experience in IVD industry, and many years' experience in R&D team system development and management;
• Working experience with both domestic and MNC is preferred.
• Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
• Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
