Global e-health company, multiple hires across Europe
Case study
The overview
We partnered with a leading global e-health company that provides software solutions for the healthcare industry, as they were having difficulties finding the right talent for a number of roles.
Scope of work
We started working with our partner in Switzerland, where the skillset they required was extremely niche, as candidates needed to have a combination of medical knowledge and advanced IT skills, with a willingness to travel frequently. Taking all of these requirements into account, there was only a small talent pool of suitable candidates. The work was project based, which required very quick turnarounds and strictly monitored budgets. We originally supported them in hiring for a product owner and a solution architect role. Through the work we did in Switzerland, we were internally recommended to their German headquarters.
Continued partnership
A change in legislation in Germany (Krankenhauszukunftgesetz) meant they were winning more projects than previously, so we were introduced to key stakeholders in the German business to help them hire several IT consultants to increase their headcount. We also provided support for system engineers and IT security consultants.
To enable this successful delivery, we deployed our dedicated digital health team, many of whom are German natives. We had excellent communication with the company, with weekly scheduled calls with their talent acquisition team. Due to the highly specific requirement, we conducted a strict qualifying process with candidates, ensuring that they hit the brief exactly. Our partner trusted us to only present highly qualified profiles that were suitable for interview, which helped expedite the process, ensuring a better experience for candidates as well as the business. In Q1 2021, we placed three IT consultants, and commenced the search for a team lead.
The outcome
The company is continually hiring due to the project-based nature of their work, and we continue to partner with them to enable them to hit these deliverables with more candidate progressing through the interview process.
