Proclinical are recruiting a Director - Project Delivery (CAPEX) for a pharmaceutical corporation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Bern.

Responsibilities:

Handle project leaders to guarantee suitable governance for project approvals, cost, schedule, delivery and tactical partner guidance is being adhered to.
Supervise project delivery plans in the site/location, as well as troubleshoot/raise concerns.
Assure that the project follows international engineering standards and utilises the company's international project delivery playbook methodology.
You will set project/program goals and offer clear guidance for implementation.
Facilitate a culture of cross-functional cooperation and communications.
Execute engineering standards that facilitate efficient as well as effective capital project delivery.
Offer contractor and supplier management contributions into selection criteria in collaboration with the alliance manager.
Form, develop and handle teams of direct reports or project assisted resources.
The ideal candidate will promote high employee engagement and a positive work setting.
Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

At least 10-15 years of experience in design and construction and start-up within a biopharma, life science or any other highly regulated organisation.
Familiarity with project/program management and familiarity with handling significant capital budgets, meeting financial targets, and driving cost savings.
At least 10+ years of experience in more responsible positions.
At least 10 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and directly handling people.
Comprehension of cGMP, GEP and EHS&S needs internationally.
Project/program leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Capable of working from a position of influence to project resources.
Able to drive change, while balancing risks and pacing for success.
Analytical abilities with financial insight.
An organised individual.
Willing to travel for business needs.
