Proclinical is seeking a Technical Design Specialist (EWM) to support logistics and supply chain operations in the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP EWM solutions for warehouse operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage project deliverables, align processes, and ensure successful system integration within a fast-paced environment.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Business Solution Manager for logistics warehouse operations, collaborating with global process owners, business champions, and IT experts.
- Design and integrate solutions for warehouse operations within project timelines.
- Develop and update business standard operating procedures and training materials.
- Conduct business screening, testing, and validation of IT solutions.
- Support data migration activities for warehouse operations.
- Align and integrate relevant processes across logistics, including intercompany order management and direct procurement.
- Ensure user requirements and functional specifications align with global and local processes.
- Contribute to master data preparation for screening, testing, and cutover phases.
- Support go-live activities and ensure smooth adoption of new releases.
- Collaborate on reporting requirements with the analytics team.
- Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing SAP EWM core model.
- Address cross-functional topics, such as staging with manufacturing, and propose aligned solutions.
- Manage tasks across conceptual design, build, testing, training, cutover, and hyper-care phases.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong experience in supply chain logistics, particularly in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in SAP EWM implementation projects, ideally in a leadership role.
- Ability to translate process requirements into solutions and validate their alignment with business needs.
- Experience integrating manufacturing execution processes and systems (e.g., MES).
- Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and committed to meeting project deadlines.
- Strong leadership and advisory skills, with the ability to guide teams effectively.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Positive, proactive attitude with flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent teamwork and quality orientation.
- Ability to operate in a global matrix environment and moderate workshops with business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage with senior management.
- Fluent in English.
