Proclinical is seeking an Electrical Engineer with expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical facility systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role focuses on ensuring compliance, reliability, and operational excellence across cleanrooms, laboratories, and manufacturing spaces.

Key responsibilities:

Lead or support the design and installation of BMS infrastructure, including HVAC, lighting, access control, and environmental monitoring systems.
Collaborate with automation and controls teams to ensure seamless integration with SCADA, PLC, and EMS platforms.
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on BMS hardware and software.
Respond to alarms and system faults to minimize disruptions to GMP operations.
Ensure all BMS activities comply with GMP, GAMP5, and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate documentation, including change controls, validation protocols, and system specifications.
Support CAPEX and facility upgrade projects, including commissioning, qualification, and handover of BMS systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as QA, Facilities, and Engineering.
Analyze system data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for energy savings or process improvements.

Skills & Requirements:

Background in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Proficiency in BMS systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
Strong understanding of HVAC controls, cleanroom requirements, and environmental monitoring.
Experience with platforms like Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or similar.
Familiarity with validation processes and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EMA).
Knowledge of GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity principles is a plus.
Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC, or EMS integration is advantageous.
Exposure to multi-site or global pharmaceutical operations is preferred.
Practical experience with commissioning and qualification of BMS systems is desirable.
