Are you ready to turn precision into progress and play a key role in shaping the future of pharmaceutical innovation?

Proclinical is seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design, coordination, and delivery of black utility systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical project. This role involves collaborating with internal and external teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring successful execution from concept to commissioning.

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering teams and design partners to develop and review mechanical designs for black utilities, including steam, HVAC, compressed air, and chilled water systems.
Ensure all designs comply with GMP, safety, and operational standards.
Manage relationships with equipment vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery, technical compliance, and quality execution.
Participate in RFQ processes, technical evaluations, and contract reviews.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of black utility systems.
Provide technical input during FAT, SAT, and qualification activities.
Troubleshoot issues and support resolution during construction and startup phases.
Maintain accurate records, including design reviews, change controls, and commissioning documentation.
Ensure all work aligns with GMP, EHS, and internal quality standards.

Skills & Requirements:

Background in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of black utility systems and facility infrastructure.
Experience in design coordination and vendor management.
Familiarity with commissioning, qualification, and validation processes.
Knowledge of cleanroom HVAC, boiler systems, and energy optimization is a plus.
Exposure to CAPEX projects and multi-disciplinary engineering teams is advantageous.
Hands-on experience with utility system troubleshooting and lifecycle management is preferred.
