Bioprocess Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a Bioprocess Engineer to join an exciting opportunity and focus on driving operational readiness and rolling out new initiatives within biologics manufacturing. This position requires expertise in downstream processing or bio-conjugates manufacturing, along with a strong ability to manage change and create training documentation.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the roll-out of new SAP functionalities, ensuring thorough updates to manufacturing documentation such as SOPs and batch records.
• Act as a functional lead for interdisciplinary teams, including production personnel, supervisors, and specialists, ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Develop and establish training materials for manufacturing personnel, plant logistics, and other related areas.
• Guide and support clinical and/or commercial manufacturing activities in defined downstream processing areas, such as capture, intermediate purification, polishing, or drug substance filling.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related Life Science field.
• Expertise in downstream processing or bio-conjugates manufacturing, including chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, and dead-end filtration.
• Strong understanding of GMP standards.
• Experience with SAP material management and bill of materials (BOM).
• Knowledge of logistics workflows within production environments.
• Proficiency as an end-user of MES systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and/or German.
• Strong project management skills and ability to support initiative roll-outs.
• Team-oriented mindset with a structured, solution-driven approach to work.
• Open to new ideas and suggestions.
