Proclinical is seeking an Analytical Chemist to support routine analytical testing and ensure the quality of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and environmental samples.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves working with advanced instrumentation and adhering to cGMP standards. You will play a key role in generating accurate data, troubleshooting laboratory instruments, and contributing to method development and validation.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in HPLC, Empower software, and inhalation/respiratory testing techniques is preferred.
- A degree in Chemistry or a related science field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry) is required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when needed.
- Experience in a cGMP-regulated environment is advantageous.
The Chemist's responsibilities will be:
- Perform analytical testing using approved methods and various instruments.
- Generate valid and accurate data while maintaining expected productivity levels.
- Interpret test data and communicate any deviations or critical findings to supervisors.
- Evaluate data generated by other team members for accuracy and validity.
- Document analytical data accurately and review laboratory documents such as SOPs, technical reports, and specifications.
- Assist in the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments.
- Train laboratory personnel on methods, instrumentation, and computer systems.
- Review and update training materials and maintain documentation of training activities.
- Participate in interdepartmental project teams or committees as needed.
