Inventory Control Specialist - Contract - Philadelphia, PA

Play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Proclinical is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join a dynamic team in Philadelphia, PA. This position involves monitoring inventory levels, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity while supporting operational efficiency.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Intermediate computer skills, including email and Excel.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance standards.
  • Commitment to data integrity and continuous skill development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

The Inventory Control Specialist's responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor and control inventory integrity.
  • Maintain product identification and location systems.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Lead physical inventories, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
  • Track and report non-conforming products.
  • Participate in end-of-month inventory processes.
  • Document and manage aged or damaged products.
  • Ensure timely labeling and compliance with labeling requirements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy metrics and generate reports for management.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance inventory accuracy.
  • Train staff on inventory control techniques as needed.
  • Provide support to other warehouse employees and logistics staff.
  • Prepare accurate shipping paperwork and complete shipping transactions.
  • Contribute to achieving departmental goals and operational excellence.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
