Proclinical is partnering with a major biotechnology company to advertise a vacancy for a Regional Medical Liaison position in the UK. The organisation boasts an extensive pipeline and commercial portfolio in oncology and immunology. Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, developing, and maintaining collaborative relationships with current and future external thought leaders and key regional healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Responding to HCP requests for clinical / scientific information.
  • Working with IIT Manager to co-ordinate proposals around Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs).
  • Providing support as required for ongoing IITs.
  • Delivering scientific training to internal colleagues.
  • Providing medical insight to relevant company colleagues.
  • Working in a compliant manner, aligned to the ABPI / IPHA Code as appropriate.
  • Working in a compliant manner and contributing to the culture of the wider team in up-skilling compliance skills.
  • Working with Clinical Operations to identify potential sites for company-sponsored studies and provides feedback if appropriate.
  • Attending national/international Congresses for the purposes of learning and providing scientific support.
  • Contributing and adding value to scientific discussions with key collaborative groups.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A Medical/Scientific background with a minimum of degree level qualification in relevant biological science.
  • Past Pharmaceutical Industry experience is desirable.
  • Prior MS or neurology experience desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% in field time expected.
  • Capable of working independently, analysing, working with attention to detail, process and prioritise sensitive complex information, and solve problems.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
