Sr. Research Associate- Cell Biology

At Proclinical, we are seeking an individual to fill the role of Senior Research Associate - Cell Biology, based in Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct molecular biology studies to construct or modify expression vectors, genetically characterize cell lines, analyze for sequence variants, etc.
• Employ state-of-the-art methods at various stages of cell line development and generates CHO cell lines of high productivity and quality.
• Learn and operate scientific instruments at various steps.
• Execute studies aimed at phenotypic and genotypic characterizations of cell lines.
• Document experimental results in electronic laboratory notebook.
• Interpret data and provide periodic updates to the team and the department.
• Prepare internal reports and contributes to preparation of documents for regulatory filings.
• Work with departmental/cross-functional peers to execute on assignments.

Skills And Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in biochemistry, biology, biotechnology or a related field and 2-5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Sound knowledge of cell culture principles and experience in aseptic techniques required.
• Experience in CLD technologies including suspension culture of CHO cells, single-cell cloning, clonality assessment, and clone screening highly desirable.
