Proclinical has a new exciting Service Team Leader opportunity with a market-leading business, providing high-quality scientific equipment, technical services, and solutions to laboratories, production, and maintenance environments throughout Ireland.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead a team of 7 Service Engineers, driving service performance, developing your team, and ensuring customers receive an outstanding level of technical support. You'll have real autonomy, strong senior leadership support, and the opportunity to make a visible impact in a well-established, growing Irish company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a technical support team, driving performance, development, and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure high standards of customer support and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to optimise scheduling, workflow, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures, service systems, and company processes.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, tools, and resources.
  • Monitor equipment, stock, and operational readiness to maintain effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and the introduction of new products or services.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying service opportunities and supporting commercial initiatives.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience managing a technical or field service team.
  • Qualification in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience supporting technical equipment or instrumentation is desirable.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and regulated working environments.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard IT systems.
  • Full, clean driving licence required.
