Proclinical is working alongside a Medical Device organisation who have an exciting opportunity open for someone to lead the transition of an innovative medical device from prototype to commercial manufacturing. You will own the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process, working cross-functionally to establish scalable, compliant production systems for a next-generation healthcare technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end NPI from engineering release to production build
- Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and inspection plans
- Define production flow, layouts, and material handling
- Support ISO 13485-aligned quality systems and audit readiness
- Manage non-conformances, CAPAs, and manufacturing documentation
- Develop scale-up strategy, cost models, and production readiness plans
About You
- Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or similar)
- Proven working years in NPI / manufacturing / production engineering
- Proven experience taking products from prototype to production
- Strong knowledge of DFM/DFA, process development, and supplier management
- Familiar with ISO 13485 and manufacturing quality systems
