Proclinical is seeking an Engineering Planner to join a team in Switzerland. In this role, you will focus on planning and scheduling engineering maintenance activities to ensure facilities, utilities, and equipment are maintained safely and in compliance with GMP standards. This position requires close collaboration with production teams and external contractors to align maintenance schedules with operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain schedules for planned preventative and unplanned maintenance tasks.
  • Escalate any overdue planned tasks appropriately.
  • Collaborate with customer departments and production schedulers to ensure equipment availability for maintenance.
  • Lead weekly maintenance planning meetings to address issues and ensure timely task delivery.
  • Allocate resources for planned activities, including arranging external contractors when necessary.
  • Procure and assign required materials, spares, and consumables for maintenance tasks.
  • Generate and distribute reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance planning and delivery.
  • Continuously review and improve the planning and scheduling process to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educational background in engineering or a technical discipline (HND/HNC or equivalent).
  • Practical experience in maintenance activities across various equipment, ideally in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering maintenance processes and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in SAP PM.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and logical decision-making.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work full-time onsite in Switzerland.
