Proclinical is advertising a vacancy for a Sales Manager position with a leading biotechnology company that specialises in personalised molecular analysis for cancer patients. The organisation is seeking a driven and experienced individual to join their team based in the DACH region. This is an exciting opportunity to bring experience and skill whilst working with an expanding and dynamic company by working closely with the business and developing international contacts.
The Sales Manager will assure the full sales responsibility of the company's commercial plan for Europe by driving and implementing the company's business plan across the agreed customer segments and the company's products and services in the defined region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meeting and exceeding your regional and team's commercial objectives for the company, such as sales and growth targets.
- Defining and developing a network of cancer centres, private laboratories, hospitals, clinicals, and pharmaceutical companies.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs.
- Presenting and self-promoting the company's solutions to our customer base.
- Educating the selected target groups to our solutions and technology.
- Identifying business and scientific partnership opportunities and initiating negotiations.
- Ensuring the commercial and administrative follow-ups of the scientific collaborations and regular test requests.
- Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director and ensuring the follow-up of KPIs set by the manager.
- Offering product information on stands, during symposiums and conferences at the national and international level whenever needed.
- Working closely with the Marketing department to coordinating the mission.
- Overseeing commercial presentations during those events and generation of leads.
- Working closely with other departments, such as marketing, scientific support, customer care, and production to ensure an optimal service towards patients and physicians.
- Forwarding the contracts to the adequate person in the company and ensuring the follow-up.
Skills and Requirements:
- A Master's degree in molecular biology with competencies in BioIT associated with data base management and NGS analysis.
- 5-8 years of experience in either sales within the oncology field, molecular diagnostics, and/or BioIT.
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of sales processes and sales management in a healthcare environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of NGS.
- A strong interest in the technical aspects of the Products, as well as a thorough knowledge of cancer.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
