Manufacturing Technician - Contract - Brisbane, California

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and versatile Manufacturing Technician.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but is not essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as on teams.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate automated equipment, use basic hand tools, and lift up-to 25lbs.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Familiarity with standard laboratory practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulated products is preferred.

The Manufacturing Technician's responsibilities will be:

• Operate pharmaceutical equipment including tablet press, granulator, etc.
• Maintain equipment in both current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and non-cGMP laboratories.
• Take ownership of all aspects of lab equipment implementation including reading operating manuals, installation/setup, and maintenance/cleaning.
• Perform manufacturing activities according to written protocols.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement fixes.
• Create and maintain detailed cGMP batch records, equipment logs and other production records.
• Receive and verify orders before adding them to inventory.
• Travel between multiple locations within the Bay Area.
• Act as an ambassador to vendors; communicate the company's needs clearly and create detailed records of all joint activities.
• Ensure safe handling and use of laboratory chemicals.
• Transport glassware from the secondary location for cleaning and sanitization and then taken back for future use.
