Proclinical is seeking a HVAC Plant Engineer to support engineering projects and maintenance activities within a pharmaceutical production environment. This role focuses on process optimization, plant feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with standards. You will play a key part in maintaining plant efficiency, supporting documentation updates, and training personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and execute small-scale projects, including process engineering calculations, plant optimizations, feasibility studies, and risk analyses.
  • Conduct operational tests and oversee plant conversions while managing associated services.
  • Ensure professional and cost-effective maintenance to maintain plant availability, including liaising with authorities.
  • Utilize SAP for order placement, technical and commercial evaluations, and capacity planning to optimize plant and personnel deployment.
  • Monitor and adhere to budgets for maintenance, conversions, and investments.
  • Update and verify plant documentation, such as flow charts, installation plans, and parts lists, ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
  • Support training initiatives for plant teams and workshop personnel on process knowledge, safety, hygiene, environmental considerations, and quality (cGMP).

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical production is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GMP standards and software tools like COMOS Plant Engineering Software and SAP is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to work independently while demonstrating flexibility and teamwork skills.
  • Organized, solution-oriented, and open to new ideas.
  • Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
