Proclinical are recruiting a (Graduate) Process Development Associate for a biotech corporation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Oxford.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal periodic upkeep, calibration and verification of lb equipment.
- Work rendering to GMP and company processes when necessary.
- Guarantee efficient, high-quality and suitable documentation in lab notebooks within a timely manner.
- Contribute to work with any other members of PD team in preparing and purifying viruses, thereby gaining theoretical and practical expertise of both the upstream and downstream procedures.
- Responsible for general lab maintenance such as guaranteeing lab is clean, waste is disposed of sample storage, etc.
- Assist with upstream tissue culture and downstream virus purification and process analytics actions in the PD lab.
- Collaborate cross-functional with quality control and analytical development.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Educated to a degree level in a biological science field or obtained an A level Biology with work experience in a lab would be taken into consideration.
- Prior involvement working within a lab environment.
- Familiarity with any cell culture, purification or chromatography would be advantageous.
- A flexible mindset towards work.
- Capable of adhering to protocols and SOPS, as well as record data rendering with process in a precise and timely manner.
- A motivated individual with the ability to manage time efficiently.
- An organised individual with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Works well independently as well as in a team.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
