Proclinical are partnering with a biotech organisation who are recruiting for an individual to join their team. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Catalunya. The opening position is for a Global External Manufacturing Director.

Responsibilities:

Guide cross-functional teams and joint management teams for development programs and/or commercial products at CDMOs during lifecycle phases.
Form and guide cross-functional/global project and governance teams, cooperating with multiple functions both on an internal and external basis.
Handle operational actions at CDMOs, guaranteeing product development, regular provisions, and clinical supply in line with production and QC actions.
Review, execute and uphold customised development and manufacturing solutions internationally to develop patient access to medicines in line with product strategy teams.
Contribute to projects linked to manufacturing operations, which involves technology transfers, process improvements, validation actions and regulatory proposals.
Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Capable of guiding cross-functional teams and working well with others.
Know-how of manufacturing operations, technology transfers, and regulatory needs.
Familiarity with handling external CDMOs for biological drug substances.
Preferably able to bring sterile, aseptic expertise in a production setting in a regional or global scope.
Knowledge of external manufacturing operations, which involves managing relations with CDMOs.
Able to resolve issues.
Project management skills.
Capable of driving constant improvement initiatives.
