Facilities Specialist - Contract - Freemont, CA
Proclinical is seeking a Facilities Specialist to join a dedicated team.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will focus on maintaining equipment, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position is crucial for supporting the continuous operation and improvement of our facilities.
Skills & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years working experience in laboratory facility maintenance.
- HVAC experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Compliance with laboratory safety guidelines.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Time-management skills.
The Facilities Specialist's responsibilities will be:
- Perform maintenance activities for site equipment, ensuring compliance with local procedures and corporate policies.
- Create, track, and organize documentation for maintenance activities.
- Coordinate and interact with suppliers/vendors for work and materials.
- Track, update, and support continuous monitoring systems (BMS/FMS).
- Assist in supporting and maintaining hazardous materials and EHS programs.
- Review supplier documentation to ensure quality standards and local guidance compliance.
- Install, set up, and support qualification activities for new equipment and plant scale-up/build-out.
- Perform periodic inspections of facilities and systems.
- Support construction projects and facility upgrades.
- Organize and maintain site utilities.
Compensation:
- $25 to $28 per hour
