Automated Visual Inspection Process Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Engineer for a role in Automated Visual Inspection to assist with the implementation of AVI activities for pre-filled syringe products. This role involves working with a range of inspection processes, from manual to high-speed, high-volume AVI. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with global experts and learn from other network sites.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize new recipes for AVI machines for prefilled syringes.
• Support FAT-SAT qualification and PQ activities for AVI.
• Evaluate and address vision system issues.
• Collaborate with vendors, global SMEs, and engineering teams to minimize false rejects in the AVI process.
• Work with process experts and quality teams to ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support new product introductions and capacity expansions, including vendor selection, maintenance planning, design changes, and yield improvement.
• Lead technical root cause investigations.
• Uphold company safety and quality programs and initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Experience in a regulated GMP environment.
• Degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Background in automated visual inspection is preferred.
• Understanding of visual inspection standards and some experience with regulatory inspections is desired.
