We partnered with a leading global provider of integrated CDMO services who had recently been acquired and was experiencing significant growth, so needed people with strong project management skills to join their team. We were initially contacted by the General Manager, as they were struggling to find suitable candidates and needed our help because another recruitment company had failed to deliver.
After learning about the niche skillset our partner needed, we quickly realised the talent pool of suitable candidates would be fairly small and would likely require someone with a background in pharma manufacturing.
Our partner also needed help with their employer branding and value proposition as they had recently experienced many people leaving the company. We had to educate the market on the company’s vision and address any concerns candidates had about their high turnover.
We implemented a permanent contingent solution and were able to identify people with experience in product development and technical transfer at other CDMOs and CMOs. We also presented our partner with candidates in production roles that would have the knowledge and experience to do the job but lacked the project management skillset and would need training up.
