Bench Chemist - Contract - Zebulon, NC

Proclinical is seeking a Bench Chemist to perform routine analytical testing and support laboratory operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves working with raw materials, packaging, finished products, and environmental samples using various analytical methods and instruments. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, maintaining compliance with cGMP standards, and supporting method development and validation activities.
Skills & Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience in raw material sampling and testing is required.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical GMP standards is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation.
- Proficiency in using analytical instruments and troubleshooting equipment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
The Bench Chemist's responsibilities will be:
- Conduct routine analytical testing using approved methods and instrumentation.
- Produce accurate and valid data while meeting productivity expectations.
- Interpret and document test results, notifying supervisors of any deviations.
- Review and evaluate data generated by others.
- Maintain and update laboratory documentation, including SOPs, methods, and specifications.
- Support method development, validation, and transfer processes.
- Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Assist with training laboratory personnel and document training activities.
- Participate in interdepartmental projects as needed.
