An international pharmaceutical company is seeking to recruit a Statistician to their office in the UK. The organisation focuses on immunology, specialising in the research and development of allergy treatments across the European market, as well as the US. This position will predominantly be home based, however 1 day a week will be spent in the company's office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborating in the process of protocol development by choosing appropriate study design including statistical methodologies, calculating sample size, and writing statistical section of protocol.
- Acting as the lead statistician for multiple projects.
- Acting as primary contact with CRO/Vendor for all biostatistics related activities.
- Writing and reviewing SAps based on protocol including mock-up displays for TFLs.
Skills and Requirements:
- MSc or PhD in Statistics or other relevant subject.
- Comprehensive knowledge of statistical theory and methods, along with the ability to apply this to all phases of clinical trials.
- Good knowledge of SAS including statistical analysis, data manipulation, and graphing.
- Demonstrable knowledge of all relevant statistical regulatory guidelines and standards.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
