Proclinical is seeking a Software Security Champion to work on Java, Angular, and Docker-based projects while championing secure software development practices. You will serve as the primary point of contact for security-related matters, ensuring the team adheres to best practices and maintains robust security standards.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Develop software using Java, Angular, and Docker in complex projects.
- Act as the security champion within the team, raising awareness of secure development practices.
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPoC) for security issues in the project.
- Analyze and address security reports from tools like OWASP, SonarQube, and VMC.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to create and prioritize security-related tasks.
- Implement minor security measures directly or initiate necessary actions.
- Conduct security code reviews, focusing on areas such as interfaces and encryption.
- Maintain and update security documentation to ensure it remains practical and relevant.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong background in software development with expertise in Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Docker, and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with tools like IntelliJ, Git, SonarQube, Jenkins, or ArgoCD-Tekton pipelines.
- Experience with microservice architectures and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
- Knowledge of security principles, including OWASP, IAM, encryption, and certificates.
- Ability to communicate technical topics clearly across teams.
- Structured, independent, and team-oriented working style.
- Fluent in German (minimum B2 level) and English or French.
