Proclinical is seeking a Full Stack Cloud Developer for a 5-month project starting in August. This role focuses on backend optimization, cloud migration, and frontend integration for an AI harness codebase. You will work independently to deliver production-ready code modules and infrastructure configurations. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely after the initial two months onsite in Darmstadt.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a technical audit and refactor the existing AI harness codebase (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript) to enhance maintainability, performance, and code quality.
- Implement software security best practices, including input validation and secrets management across the full stack.
- Develop and maintain FastAPI backend services and Node.js integration layers.
- Containerize application components using Docker and multi-stage build scripts.
- Migrate and deploy the application architecture to AWS cloud environments.
- Configure version control workflows and integrate CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Design and implement automated testing strategies, including unit tests, API integration tests, and static code analysis.
- Translate Figma design specifications into responsive frontend codebases using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop user interfaces for AI-driven features such as conversational UIs, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation detailing system architecture, API schemas, and maintenance workflows.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like FastAPI and Node.js.
- Experience with Docker containerization and AWS cloud deployments.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Expertise in automated testing tools (e.g., pytest, Jest) and code quality assurance (e.g., Ruff, Black, ESLint).
- Ability to interpret Figma designs and implement them into responsive frontend code.
- Familiarity with building user interfaces for AI-driven applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
