SENIOR PACKAGING TECHNICIAN

Proclinical is currently seeking a Senior Packaging Technician for a biotechnical company in San Dimas, CA. Successful candidate will work on assignments that are basic to routine in nature where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted or usual practices is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working on basic to routine assignments following written Standard Operating Procedures, Master Batch Records and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Working in conjunction with other Packaging Technicians under the guidance of a Group/Team Leader and the Packaging Manager.
• Working on manufacturing and packaging of company products; Assists in the inspection of company products, Clinical Trial Material, and components.
• Working on the packaging of company products and Clinical Trial Material, with guidance.
• Setting up and operating packaging line equipment including vial labeler, vial label laser, and carton laser.
• Preparing cleaning solutions and cleans packaging areas, including walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment.
• Complying with all safety-related procedures and practices personally and in area.
• Setting up check-weighing of multi-unit cartons. Performing basic ERP/MES transactions
• Receiving well-defined instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
• Reporting variance or deviation from standard procedures to department management.
• Taking variant action only with approval of department management.

Skills and Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years' experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging environment preferred.
