Proclinical is seeking a Visual Inspection Operator for a contract role. This position focuses on the visual inspection of sterile products, including liquid and freeze-dried vials and syringes, within a GMP-compliant environment. The role involves both project-based and routine responsibilities, with an emphasis on maintaining high-quality standards and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Project Phase:

  • Assist in defining and setting up processes for manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated visual inspections.
  • Support commissioning, qualification, and validation of new production equipment and processes.
  • Identify and promptly report deviations, assisting in root cause analysis.

Routine Operations:

  • Perform tasks in compliance with GMP standards and SOPs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in MES, forms, and logbooks.
  • Identify and report deviations, contributing to root cause investigations.
  • Collaborate with process experts to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct visual inspections of liquid and freeze-dried vials and syringes.
  • Prepare rooms and equipment for visual inspection activities.
  • Perform light measurements at inspection stations.
  • Classify defects according to established guidelines.
  • Inspect test runs and threshold studies.
  • Handle sample transfers and storage in cooling rooms.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in German is mandatory; English skills are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of sterile production processes.
  • Familiarity with GMP standards and EHS requirements.
  • Competence in MES and SAP systems is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work in a two-shift system.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
