Senior Downstream Scientist (DSP, Process Transfer)

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Downstream Scientist with a focus on DSP, Process Transfer. The successful candidate will be required to provide technical expertise in downstream process transfer and process sciences. This role involves supporting technology transfer and operations at a drug substance manufacturing facility.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams for new product introductions and process campaigns.
• Provide technical leadership for complex process investigations and assessments.
• Design and execute lab studies to support facility operations and innovation.
• Analyse data to ensure process consistency and improvements.
• Author and review technical documents for validation and regulatory purposes.
• Guide stakeholders in understanding process knowledge.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical/Bioprocess Engineering, Biology, or related field.
• Strong understanding of process descriptions and control strategies.
• Proficient in process technology and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems like Syncade and Delta V.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cGMP requirements.
• Excellent investigational and writing skills.
• Effective communication skills in English (minimum B1 level).
