Proclinical is happy to advertise an opportunity for a talented and hardworking individual to join a Senior Associate position at a leading global pharmaceutical company that specialises in providing trusted commercial intelligence for the pharmaceutical industry. Joining the team in London, the Senior Associate will work with teams from around the world, focusing primarily on Europe, the US, and Japan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Translating successful bids into concrete resourcing and analysis plans.
  • Data-gathering, such as from the company's core datasets, external sources such as press releases/government website/medical literature, and primary research.
  • Structuring, cleansing, analysing, and interpreting data to produce insightful and actionable outcomes for inclusion in client deliverables, including modelling as required, such as sales forecast modelling.
  • Storyboarding and populating client report deliverables and executive summaries.
  • Creating 'zero-defect,' client-ready output in appropriate format, mainly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Supporting client communications and relationship development.
  • Matrix managing project teams as appropriate.
  • Mentoring and training the Custom Solutions, and wider teams as required.
  • Developing materials to support marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting development and evolution of sales support materials and training.
  • Working with the broader Custom Solutions and Sales teams, and prospective clients, to qualify and scope opportunities.
  • Supporting proposal development, feasibility assessment, and project pricing.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of thought leaderships.
  • Providing use cases and other quality assurance feedback to the Evaluate Product Development, Product Management, and Operations teams.
  • Supporting the evolution of the Custom Solutions strategy, such as offering evolutions, resourcing models, and geographic expansions.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A relevant academic background, with a PhD or MBA desirable.
  • Between 4-5 years work experience in relevant commercially-focused and client-facing roles, such as consulting or pharma.
  • Strong experience in delivering quantitative analytical projects within the Pharma/Biotech industry in a client-facing role, including sales forecasting and valuation analysis.
  • A strong understanding of Biopharma industry (market dynamics, competitive/regulatory landscape, key trends, etc).
  • Knowledge of specific data types: Evaluating data, dealing with Real World Evidence, Pricing & Market Access, Epidemiology.
  • Knowledge/experience of designing and building data visualisation applications.
  • Excellent communication skills; both presentation (face-to-face and via web demos) and written.
  • Strong problem solving, persuasion, and negotiation skills; being able to execute solutions/deliverables in a timely manner.
  • An ability to establish rapport quickly, with a demanding and expert client base.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills, with other European languages a bonus.
  • A proven ability to focus and work with attention to detail, along with retaining critical information.
