A full-service clinical research organisation is seeking to recruit a Screening Physician to their office in London. This company provides specialist services across early phase adaptive studies and early phase patient studies (therapeutic and non-therapeutic) and boasts of experience in over 500 clinical trials. Job Responsibilities:
- Performing physical examinations (check whether any special tests are required for the study they are screening for, such as groin lymph node examination or MMSE).
- Assessing ECGs:
- Are the parameters within the study-defined normal ranges?
- Is morphology normal?
- Is there a valid triplicate?
- Assessing vital signs against the study-defined ranges.
- Checking past and current medical history.
- Checking the pre-screening questionnaire.
- Updating the electronic volunteer database (VDB) with findings from screening.
Skills and Requirements:
- 1-year post FY1/2 or a specialty registrar with grade code 9.
- You must have undertaken and completed either your undergraduate or post graduate training in the UK.
- Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
- Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
