At Proclinical, we are seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Research Associate, TCR Discovery, based in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

The Research Associate, TCR Discovery will be responsible for performing and analyzing experiments in the field of molecular biology and immunology.
Involvement with genetic modification of primary human T cells and human cell lines, including cloning strategies, transfections and transductions, as well as propagation and analyses of these cells.
Maintain experimental records in electronic lab notebook format and perform general laboratory duties including reagent preparation and aliquoting, lab equipment maintenance, ordering and receiving of lab supplies.

Skills And Qualifications

BS/BA with a degree in immunology, biology or related field and 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience (RA), 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience (RA II).
Experience in methodologies, reagents and instrumentation used for vector design, cloning, gene expression, molecular analytics tools to assess gene transfer and gene expression.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with sterile technique and maintenance of cell lines.
Previous work with T cells and primary human cells is a strong plus.
Experience with lentiviral and retroviral production and transduction is preferred.
Hands-on experience in flow cytometry strongly preferred.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
