Research Associate, TCR Discovery

At Proclinical, we are seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Research Associate, TCR Discovery, based in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• The Research Associate, TCR Discovery will be responsible for performing and analyzing experiments in the field of molecular biology and immunology.
• Involvement with genetic modification of primary human T cells and human cell lines, including cloning strategies, transfections and transductions, as well as propagation and analyses of these cells.
• Maintain experimental records in electronic lab notebook format and perform general laboratory duties including reagent preparation and aliquoting, lab equipment maintenance, ordering and receiving of lab supplies.

Skills And Qualifications

• BS/BA with a degree in immunology, biology or related field and 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience (RA), 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience (RA II).
• Experience in methodologies, reagents and instrumentation used for vector design, cloning, gene expression, molecular analytics tools to assess gene transfer and gene expression.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with sterile technique and maintenance of cell lines.
• Previous work with T cells and primary human cells is a strong plus.
• Experience with lentiviral and retroviral production and transduction is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in flow cytometry strongly preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
