Regional Account Director- Mid-Atlantic

Proclinical is currently seeking a Regional Account Director for a biopharmaceutical company located in The Mid-Atlantic. Successful candidate will be the individual contributor that provides market access solutions to key customers in a specific region. This position reports to the National Account Director, Reimbursement & Access.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivering education and services pertaining to access, coverage, coding, reimbursement, and affordability of a novel oncology therapeutic to customers in their specific region.
• Focusing on key decision makers to include, but not limited to C-suite officers, pharmacy and pathology.
• Developing customer-specific pull-through strategies for a novel oncology therapeutic.
• Attending and planning strategic interactions at key industry conferences.
• Developing and executing a business plan that is consistent with the company's objectives, strategies and revenue goals.
• Working cross-functionally with Territory Managers, Regional Sales Directors, Marketing, Directors, National Payers and legal.
• Achieving revenue targets and objectives set by senior leadership.
• Tracking and analyzing performance data for their specific region.
• Complying with the company's policies and procedures.

Skills and Requirements:

• BS in life sciences or business.
• MS/MA preferred.
• 10+ years of US pharmaceutical industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with customers in a market access capacity.
• Part A and B experience a must.
• Experience working with institutions and IDNs.
• Demonstrated ability to remove access barriers.
• Oncology and infused specialty product launch experience.
• Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, payment landscapes and policies as related to oncology and orphan drugs.
• Experience with orphan drug reimbursement preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with other field teams.
• Clinical, technical and scientific knowledge and aptitude in complex disease states.
• Demonstrated planning and communication skills; ability to present complex information to multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in a fast-growing biotech company.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
